Artistic spirit flourishes at Hampton Infant School

Hampton Infant School came alive with creative spirit this week at its third annual art week.
Pupils from nursery, to year 2 at the school in Ripley Road, took part in the special event from Monday, January 23.
The theme of the Hampton Infants Arts Week 2012 was the Olympics and the diamond jubilee. Teacher KIatherine Good said: “The school is buzzing with creativity, colour, enthusiasm and excitement, and the children are being lucky enough to have several visitors running sessions during the week.”
Children took part in various activities, including, dance, drama, music, art and workshops from staff at a local gallery. An exhibition of the children’s wsork will be held at the school on Thursday, February 23.
